A Gift From One Generation to the Next

The St. Sebastian School Foundation is dedicated to supporting our school, its annual theme, and its mission. Gifts to the Foundation help sustain the exemplary level of education that children are receiving at our parish school. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) produces accountability report cards for every publicly funded school. St. Sebastian Catholic School consistently receives their highest five-star rating for "Significantly Exceeds Expectations." You can review the overall report card details and the priority areas for our school and other private schools on the DPI website

In 2019, St. Sebastian Catholic School underwent a review to renew its accreditation. The school was found to meet or exceed the rigorous standards of the Wisconsin Catholic Schools Accreditation (WCSA) and the Wisconsin Religious & Independent Schools Accreditation (WRISA).

Schools are evaluated upon the basis of their total identity and as an institution of learning. The standards addressed include: Mission and Catholic Identity, Governance and Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality.

Our Catholic school places an emphasis on the school as an educational community of persons who collaborate and foster an appreciation for a genuine faith community that builds learning and strengthens academic excellence.

In 2018, we received the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s Exemplary Recognition Program. This is especially noteworthy because of the 107 schools in the entire system, St. Seb’s was one of only 11 schools chosen for this honor.

The program pays tribute to extraordinary performance in providing a strong heritage of Catholic identity, academic excellence and educating the whole student. Our goal is to keep this exemplary work at a high level to receive this award each time we are reviewed.
