Welcome Group: Dignity in Practice
Mon, Apr 27th 6pm - 7:30pm
Adult Formation Room
St. Sebastian Church 5400 W. Washington Blvd. Milwaukee, WI 53208

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops defines Catholic Social Teaching as the belief that human life is sacred, and that the dignity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision for society. How we express that dignity - especially in welcoming LGBTQ+ individuals in liturgy and daily life - is an ongoing transformation. At the next St. Sebastian Welcome Group gathering, Sr. Jane Marie Bradish, OSF, will reflect on how her life journey has shaped her understanding of inclusion and belonging. Drawing on her experience in Catholic secondary education and as a church cantor, she will explore what fosters welcome, what exclusion can look like, and how communities can respond with faithfulness and care. Join us on Monday, April 27 at 6:30 in the Adult Formation Room. For more information, contact Barb Haig, welcomegroup@saintsebs.org.
