Adult Formation Room
Join the St. Sebastian Welcome Group as we explore what it means to show up with courage in our communities—especially for those who identify as LGBTQ+. Inspired by the Harvard Business Review article Building Everyday Bravery, we’ll reflect on how small acts of bravery—like sharing your story, standing up for others, or simply being present—can transform lives and foster support while retaining our Catholic identity. Led by parishioner Jesús Villa, a human resources leader and equity and inclusion advocate. In addition to having served as Administrator of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development's Equal Rights Division, Jesús has helped establish numerous employee affinity groups, and is a sought-after speaker and trainer on equity and inclusion topics. He currently serves as Executive Sponsor of the Wisconsin Department of Administration's Rainbow Affinity Group supporting LGBTQ+ staff. Whether you're new to St. Sebastian or simply seeking connection, this session is a space to be seen, heard, and supported. Questions? Contact Barb Haig - barbh1836@gmail.com
