St. Seb's Yarn Friends have been needling beautiful gloves, hats and dishcloths. If you love to knit, the Boutique would love to have the fruits of your labor. Our New to You space is limited in the Church Hall so the following are helpful tips to determine which of your household “treasures” will lead to successful sales for the boutique. Remember, if you wouldn’t give it to your dearest friend, don’t give it to us.

All items must be new or like-new, clean, odorless and in good condition. Please note there are a few changes from last year.

• No jewelry.
• No furniture, linens, adult books, picture frames.
• No clothing will be accepted with the following exceptions: Team sportswear like Packers, Brewers, Bucks, etc.; Accessories like high quality handbags and nice, clean scarves should be free of debris and stains.

The following donated items are encouraged:

• Home Décor like candles, unique decorative or vintage items, mirrors, art, quirky things.
• Holiday decorations like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
• Glassware sets and canisters like vintage Pyrex, good quality glassware, fiesta ware, cast iron cookware, kitchen.
• Handcrafted collectible items like ceramics, pottery, bowls.
• Kids games, puzzles, books.
• Adult board games, card games.

Important Drop Off Information

No items to be dropped off at the Parish House or School.

Someone will be available to receive your items in the church hall (54th Street entrance doors):

• After Masses on Sunday, November 29th
• Tuesday, Dec 1 from 4-7pm
• Wednesday, Dec 2 from 3-8pm
• Thursday, Dec 3 from 3-8
• Friday Dec 4 from 9am-Noon

No donations will be accepted after noon on Friday December 4th.

A standout highlight of the Boutique is our raffle featuring exceptional items. While the winning tickets are drawn following the luncheon (must be present to win), raffle tickets are available for purchase throughout the entire morning. We welcome donations of new, boxed items perfect for gifting or personal pampering - don't forget yourself! Popular contributions include holiday-themed decor, small kitchen appliances, children's toys and games, fine jewelry, and curated gift baskets. Gift cards values between $25 and $50 are also highly sought after. Additionally, monetary contributions are greatly appreciated and directly support the purchase of major raffle prizes. Capture memories with your group using our new professional photography setup this year! Set against a lovely, festive backdrop, it is the perfect way to commemorate your visit.

The event culminates in a women’s luncheon at noon (reservations required) served by the men of our parish, known as the “Hello Dolly (singing) Waiters”.

Each table is uniquely decorated by the table hostess. The elaborate holiday decorations create a festive environment and give new meaning to “Deck the Halls!”

MENU:

Meat lasagna served in robust red sauce, OR vegetable lasagna, covered with a creamy white bechamel sauce

All meals include bread, butter, salad, and cheesecake

Boutique weekend also includes family activities on Sunday. There is a breakfast, activities for kids, and St. Nick is known to make an appearance! Craft items and knits are also available on Sunday, and the various parish groups like Teosinte, St. Coletta, School Spirit and 8th Grade fundraiser have items for sale.

There are plenty of opportunities to lend your time and talent to make this wonderful holiday event happen. Volunteers are scheduled in 2 hour shifts at a location that interests you.

Cashiers

We are in need of cashiers - one for each booth. We will no longer accept voucher payments, so merchandise purchased will be paid for at each booth. Payment options will include cash, check, credit or debit cards and Venmo. If you are interested in cashiering, training will be provided. 

Singing Waiters

Men of the parish, consider being a Hello Dolly singing waiter – no try outs required!

Set-up Help

Help is needed to decorate the church hall during the week of the Boutique on Thursday, December 3 (6pm to 9pm) or Friday December 4 (9am to 9pm).
